Marija Buljeta is a London based photographer specialized in studio and outdoor portraits, headshot and fashion photography, event, live music and bands’ promo photography and photography for music releases. She also does impressionist and abstract artwork for exhibitions. She has been a photographer for 17 years. During that time she attended numerous courses and workshops at Photo Club Zagreb, Croatia. She has been exhibiting her work since 2014 at numerous solo and group exhibitions at Photo Club Zagreb, Zagreb City Libraries and abroad. She has been interviewed for major Croatian politics, economics and culture magazines and by the Croatian National prime TV channel. She had also been awarded first prize for one of her works in Croatia in 2014 just before her move to UK. However she continued exhibiting in Croatia periodically. Marija has been a member of The Camera Club London since 2015, where she had her first solo exhibition in the UK in 2018. Same year she exhibited her live music work as a part of The London Photo Show at Baregehouse Gallery. As a music journalist Marija has photographed numerous shows across The UK and abroad for Altvenger magazine, XS Noize, Cold War Night Life and Peek-a-Boo magazine. She is preparing several exhibitions in the UK and Croatia.
